This medication is to be applied on the skin. To use:

• apply to completely dry skin at least 4 hours before or 30 minutes after showering or washing;
• apply small amount of the product and limit the application to the affected area;
• allow product to dry for 5 to 10 minutes before covering with clothing;
• wait at least 2 hours before applying other products on the skin (e.g., moisturizers).

Do not allow this product to come into contact with eyes or mucous membranes (e.g. lips).

This medication is typically used only once a day. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed.

If you forget a dose, simply skip it and then apply the next dose at the regularly scheduled time. Do not double the next dose to catch up.

In addition to its desired action, this medication may cause some side effects, notably:

• it may cause the skin to become red and swollen;
• it may cause stinging or itching;

• it may produce discolouration of the skin;
• it may cause skin ulceration.

Each person may react differently to a treatment. If you think this medication may be causing side effects (including those described here, or others), talk to your health care professional. He or she can help you to determine whether or not the medication is the source of the problem.

Keep this product in the refrigerator and discard any unused portion after 60 days.
