A transparent tool accessible to all!

The Group's eco-socio-responsibility, which is supported by GREEN MISSION PIERRE FABRE, is reflected in the various commitments made by each brand AND product. These take the form of certifications (organic, fair trade, etc.), guarantees of respect for the social conditions under which products are manufactured, territorial anchoring, and corporate philanthropy projects to protect man and nature.

To be complete and reliable, calculating an eco-socio-design score is a complex exercise. Our main challenge was therefore to make it understandable and easy to use for everyone. As a result, each product is assigned a letter from A to D to measure its level of eco-socio-design.

Committed together!

At Pierre Fabre, we are committed to responding to the ecological and societal urgency of our community and our planet. That's why we've designed the Green Impact Index, the measurement tool that's fully transparent and accessible to all, TO HELP YOU CHOOSE BETTER!

The Green Impact Index evaluation method

Biodegradability and naturalness of the formula, carbon footprint, water consumption, organic farming, official certifications, CSR commitments... A total of 20 criteria are scrutinized to give the product an environmental grade and a societal grade, the weighted average of which is summarized in a letter: A, B, C or D.

After 12 years of effort, Pierre Fabre laboratories have been able to develop a measurement method validated and guaranteed by the external organization AFNOR Certification.

The Green Impact Index does not measure a product's effectiveness, nor its effects on individual health, but its respect for nature and society.
