Some people have large eyes, others have round ones, or small ones -- other people wear glasses. In all cases, you should know how to use makeup to showcase your individuality, enhance your beauty, and hide small flaws. Here are some tips on stylish makeup for all eye shapes.
If you have big eyes
You're lucky! All you have to do is enhance your big eyes by outlining them. The only limit is your imagination. There are still some base rules, though: apply primer to keep your eye shadow from smudging. And use an eye pencil along your upper lid to make your gaze more intense.
If you have round eyes
To soften the impact of bulging eyes, start by applying a light-coloured shadow to your lid. Make your eyes appear more oval-shaped by using an eye pencil on the outer half of your upper eyelid. Finish by applying a curving or lengthening mascara.
If you have close-set eyes
Here is how to draw your eyes outward: apply a light-coloured shadow to the outer corner of your eye, and with an eye pencil, draw a line outward. The eye shadow should be as far out as possible, reaching the outer part of your upper lid.
If you wear glasses
If your glasses make your eyes look smaller, you can use makeup to widen them. Use light-coloured shadow, and remember that kohl pencils are your best friends! Draw a line on your upper lid, bringing it up to create a doe-eyed effect. However, if your glasses magnify your eyes, go for less eye makeup (mascara only), and focus on your lips. Use bright colours and choose stylish glasses to dress up your eyes. Don't forget your eyebrows!
