The Holidays are almost here, which means it’s time to start thinking about your celebratory looks. Read on and learn how you can create high-definition makeup worthy of all your Holiday events!

Base and complexion

Before you start applying your makeup, you’ll want to prepare your skin properly by applying products that are well adapted to your skin type. Once you’ve finished your preparation routine, get your skin ready by using a base and then unify your complexion.

Eyes

For eye makeup, use a black pencil, mascara and an eyeshadow palette that has brown, beige and a shade of either bronze or gold. Just follow these steps for flawless application:

1. Apply the black pencil to the contours of your inner eyes, then draw the line outwards using a brush.
2. Apply brown eyeshadow to your upper eyelid and along the lower line of your lashes. Blend the eyeshadow in using a small brush.
3. Using your finger, apply a pearlescent shade to the centres of your eyelids.
4. Apply the beige to the inner corners of your eyes to brighten the look.
5. Apply another layer of black pencil to your entire inner eye contour.
6. Lightly brush your eyelids to blend the shades together.
7. Curl your lashes and apply one or two coats of black mascara.

Lips

For makeup that lasts all evening long, you’ll want to outline your lips with a waterproof lip liner. And, if you’re going glam, choose a shade of chocolate brown, and then blend it in lightly with a brush or your fingertip, moving towards the insides of your lips. Then finish by applying a luminous lip gloss.

Cheekbones

Want to create rosy cheekbones? Easy. Just apply a thin layer of a matte red lipstick with your fingertips and then blend it in subtly. Next, using a brush, apply a pink, peach or coral blush to the centre of your cheekbones.
