Start by applying a light, matte-finish foundation. This will ensure you don’t finish the evening with a shiny forehead.

To help cover imperfections, opt for a chromatic corrector palette. To eliminate redness, apply green concealer; to neutralize blueish skin tone, go with an orangey-beige shade.

To help control your skin’s sebum levels and make sure your makeup lasts all night, apply a bit of powder to your forehead, nose, chin and under-eyes.

To highlight your natural skintone, apply bronzer to the hollow of your cheekbones, and a soft pink blush to your cheekbones.

Frame your eyes by adding definition to your brows with the help of an eyebrow pencil. For a natural finish, brunettes should opt for a shade that’s lighter than their natural eyebrow colour, and blondes should opt for one that’s a shade darker. Using a dark eyeshadow (think chocolate brown), add depth to your outer eyelids by tracing a triangle and blending it inward towards the eyelid crease.
