Varennes, Québec, April 26, 2018 - The Jean Coutu Group (PJC) inc. (the "Corporation" or the "Jean Coutu Group") announces that its Board of Directors has declared today a dividend of $0.0557 per share.

In accordance with the combination agreement entered into between the Corporation and Metro Inc. (“Metro”) on October 2, 2017, this dividend represents the amount of the quarterly dividend of the Corporation, calculated on a pro rata basis for the number of days elapsed between the last date on which a dividend was declared (being April 1, 2018) and the effective date of the amalgamation between the Corporation and Metro, which date is anticipated to occur on May 11, 2018.

This dividend will be paid on May 10, 2018, to all holders of Class "A" Subordinate Voting Shares and holders of Class "B" Shares listed in the Corporation’s shareholder ledger as at May 3, 2018.
