Antiacid: Adults: 1 to 3 teaspoonfuls (5-15 ml) with a little water up to 4 times a day or as directed by a doctor. Laxative: Take the recommended dosage, preferably at bedtime. Follow with a full glass of water. Produces bowel movement in ½ to 6 hours. Adults and children 12 years and older: 2-4 tablespoonfuls (30-60 ml). Children 6-11 years: 1-2 tablespoonfuls (15-30 ml). 2-5 years: 1-3 teaspoonfuls (5-15ml). Consult a doctor for use in children under 2 years.

Each ml contains 80 mg of magnesium hydroxide.
