When mixed with 7.75 oz (230 ml) of water, each SaltPod capsule yields isotonic saline of 0.9% w/v sodium chloride.Loading a Naväge SaltPod is as easy as 1, 2, 3!1. Fill the upper tank to the fill line with warm water.2. Place a new, unused SaltPod capsule in the crushing chamber, foil-side down.3. Close the lid firmly until it clicks shut, and do not reopen it.4. Gently shake the device for a few seconds to thoroughly mix the water and SaltPod contents.5. Locate the power button. It has two stages just like a camera button that focuses and then snaps a picture. Push the button in half-way and the pump will start. Push it in all the way and the drain valve will open and saline will immediately flow out of one of the nose pillows. Protip: feel the suction. Cover the nose pillows with your finger tips and press the power button in half-way. You will feel a light suction from one of the nose pillows.6. Run a little water over the nose pillows to make them easier to slip into your nostrils. (If you have very small nostrils, you can put a tiny bit of petroleum jelly on the pillow tips to make insertion easier.)7. Insert the nose pillows and center them in your nostrils so the tips are not blocked. Press them in firmly for a tight seal to prevent leaking.
