Fill bulb with warm water or with physician-recommended enema solution. Insert enema pipe into bulb and lubricate tip with lubricating jelly. Expel air from tip by squeezing bulb. To use in bathtub: recline in tub with knees drawn up or to the side. To use on toilet: sit on toilet and lean forward slightly. While in one of these two positions, insert lubricated enema pipe into rectum and squeeze bulb slowly and gently. If bowels are not loosened, repeat in 15-20 minutes.
